Yellowhammer Ltd. Shirts, Hot and Hot Fish Cookbook, Richard Russell Art....just to name a few!!

Opening a retail store has made it possible to add new lines to The Alabama Gift Company. Just in time for Christmas, we have added Yellowhammer Ltd. shirts including polo shirts, long sleeve and short sleeve t-shirts and oxford cloth shirts. These are unique and a must for gameday! The Hot and Hot Fish Club Cookbook: A Celebration of Food, Family & Traditions from chef Chris Hastings, will be in the store the first of the week and we are excited to get it since we have had so many request for it. TAGC carries a large selection of Richard Russell collegiate art in paper and canvas. We have a great selection in the store and customers are buying early to put back for Christmas gifts. We will offer sales on Black Friday and have some coupons floating around out there in coupon magazines. Shop early on that Friday on Broad Street in Historic Downtown Gadsden and get some great deals. Ordering is still available online and we are trying our best to get new items on there, but if you're looking for anything in particular and you don't see it on the web, please call the store and we may have it there. I am so blessed and sometimes get caught up in "stuff" that I fail to show those around me that help me, and love me, how much I appreciate them and am thankful for them. I love ya'll and thank you soooo much for all you do! Ya'll have a blessed Thanksgiving and I'll see you soon!

The Alabama Gift Company opens at 528 Broad Street in Historic Downtown Gadsden

We have been open for five weeks now and are absolutely loving being in a retail store and downtown Gadsden! After working non-stop (with the most hard working family in the world) for two months, we opened on August 7. We are located across the street from Jefferson's and Blackstone Pub and next door to Prestige Realty. When you see the State of Alabama flag flying in front of the store, you've found us. The web business is still going and will continue to do so. I do have a lot of updating to do. Moving from home to the store front, I have been able to pick up some new lines and have not had time to put them on the website. Paint the Town Gadsden is held in the back of the store with classes every Friday night and sometimes in between for private parties, children's classes and birthday parties. TAGC hours are Monday-Thursday 10-5:30, Friday 10 am - 10 pm and Saturday 10-2. Come in and say hi and check out our Made in Alabama products. We are planning a grand opening soon and will let you know details soon. When you shop with us you are supporting Alabama businesses and artisans, so shop and share made in Alabama!

Looking forward to Spring in Alabama

It never ceases to amaze me how our state flower, the camellia, weathers cold weather and yes, sometimes our snow. After our small snowfall this past weekend, the flowers are still beautiful. Month By Month Gardening in Alabama is a great resource available on our website that helps you know what will grow well and what will not in Alabama.
